Your Backups Exist. Have They Ever Been Tested?
Running and restoring are different claims. Only one of them saves you.
Almost every business has backups running somewhere. Far fewer have ever watched one come back. We design and build backup and disaster recovery across your endpoints, Microsoft 365 data and cloud infrastructure, the same architecture already built and run in far larger regulated environments, so you get the shortcut past the mistakes rather than an experiment on your business. Then we test a full restore every quarter and show you the results.
You deal with Eric. Twenty years of cloud and security architecture in regulated environments, covering the Wirral, remote-first across the UK. The person who scopes it is the person who builds it, so nothing gets lost between a salesperson and a delivery team.
Not ready to talk yet? The health check is six questions and about two minutes, and you get a written fix list in the order worth closing things.
Four Layers of Protection, Designed Once by a Senior Architect
Business continuity is not one product bought off a shelf. It is four layers working together: prevent attacks, protect endpoints, back up everything, and prove recovery works. We design it as a fixed-price project first. Ongoing management is an option afterwards, not the starting point.
Your Devices Are Protected
If a laptop dies, gets stolen, or is encrypted by ransomware, your team gets a replacement and picks up where they left off. No lost work, no lost client files.
- Every laptop, desktop, and server backed up automatically
- Remote workers covered, not just office machines
- Full machine recovery, not just individual files
- Backup copies stored separately so ransomware cannot reach them
- Regular restore testing so you know it works before you need it
Your Microsoft 365 Data Is Recoverable
Deleted emails, overwritten SharePoint files, a departing employee who wipes their OneDrive. Microsoft will not recover any of it. We back up your M365 data independently so you can always get it back.
- Recover deleted or corrupted emails from any point in time
- Restore SharePoint and OneDrive files even after accidental deletion
- Teams conversations and shared files protected
- Data retained beyond Microsoft’s standard policies
- Recoverable even after a user account is removed
Your Cloud Stays Running
If your cloud infrastructure goes down, how long until your team can work again? We design cloud environments that fail over automatically and recover in hours, not weeks, built on patterns proven in enterprise-grade environments and scaled to fit your business.
- Critical systems replicated across multiple locations
- Defined recovery targets so you know exactly how long restoration takes
- Documented recovery procedures, not guesswork under pressure
- Regular failover testing with published results
- Infrastructure designed to keep running, not just to recover afterwards
Most Incidents Never Happen
The best recovery plan is the one you never need. We layer security across your email, endpoints, passwords, and credentials so attacks are stopped before they cause damage.
- Ransomware and malware blocked before it reaches your staff
- Phishing emails intercepted before anyone clicks, still the way 85% of attacks start
- Breached passwords detected and flagged for reset
- Secure password management so staff stop reusing credentials
- Round-the-clock threat monitoring and response
Quarterly Restore Drills. Documented Results.
Every quarter we run a full restore drill and document the outcome. Not a checkbox exercise. A real test of whether your data comes back. Ask your current provider when they last tested yours.
What Most IT Providers Call “Business Continuity”
They install a backup agent and move on. We build four layers of protection, test them quarterly, and publish the results.
Business Continuity for Your Industry
Different industries have different recovery requirements. We design backup and disaster recovery around your compliance obligations, your critical systems, and your acceptable downtime.
Accountants
Client financial records, practice management data, and tax submissions protected with ransomware-proof backup. Recovery tested before every January deadline.
Business Continuity for Accountants →Law Firms
Case management systems, client files, and privileged communications backed up with SRA-compliant retention. Legal hold capability built in.
Business Continuity for Law Firms →Financial Services
FCA operational resilience requirements met with documented DR procedures, defined recovery objectives, and quarterly testing evidence.
Business Continuity for Financial Services →Recruitment
Candidate databases, ATS systems, and placement records protected. GDPR-compliant backup with provable data recovery capability.
Business Continuity for Recruitment →Estate Agents
Transaction records, client details, and property management data backed up. Recovery capability that prevents conveyancing delays.
Business Continuity for Estate Agents →Other Industries
Healthcare, education, manufacturing, professional services. We design disaster recovery around your specific systems and compliance needs.

We Actually Test Restores
Every quarter we run a full restore drill and document the results. Not a tick-box exercise. A real test of whether your data comes back when it matters.
Ransomware Cannot Touch Your Copies
Your backup copies are stored separately from your network. If ransomware encrypts everything on your systems, your recovery copies remain untouched and ready to restore.
Prevention and Recovery, Designed Together
Most providers sell you backup or security, rarely both as one architecture. We design them together, so attacks are stopped early and recovery is already tested if anything does get through.
Regular Restore Testing, Documented
Restore testing is built into the engagement, not an afterthought. You get documented evidence that your backups work, not just a promise that they are running.
Independent, UK-Wide
We have nothing to resell and no agenda beyond getting your recovery right. Delivery is remote-first across the UK, with on-site sessions scheduled only when they genuinely add value, never sold as a response SLA.
Evidence, Not a Promise
Every restore drill produces a report: what was tested, what worked, what did not. Ask your current provider for theirs.
Business Continuity FAQs
Doesn’t Microsoft back up our M365 data?
Microsoft guarantees the platform stays running. They do not guarantee your data. If a user deletes emails, overwrites SharePoint files, or an ex-employee wipes their OneDrive, Microsoft’s default retention will not save you. You need independent backup.
We already have backups. Why do we need more?
Having backups and having tested, recoverable backups are two different things. Untested backups fail more often than businesses expect, which is exactly why restore testing exists. We test yours quarterly and give you documented proof they work.
How quickly can you recover our data?
It depends on the scenario. Individual files can be restored in minutes. Full server recovery typically takes hours, not days. We agree specific recovery targets with you upfront, so you know exactly how long it takes and how much data you could lose in a worst case, then we test against those targets regularly.
What makes your backups ransomware-proof?
Two things. First, your backup copies cannot be modified or deleted by anyone, not even an administrator account that has been compromised. Second, the copies are stored completely separately from your network, so ransomware that spreads across your systems cannot reach them.
Do we need this if we already have cyber security?
Yes. Security reduces the likelihood of an incident. Business continuity handles the impact when something still gets through, or when hardware fails, or when someone makes a mistake. They work together, not as alternatives.
Can you work alongside our existing IT provider?
Yes. We can handle backup, disaster recovery, and security architecture alongside your existing IT team. They keep doing day-to-day support. We add the specialist layer they cannot deliver alone, and we have no interest in taking over what already works.
Find Out If Your Business Would Actually Recover
We will review your current backup and disaster recovery setup, identify the gaps, and tell you honestly what would happen if you needed to restore tomorrow. No obligation, no hard sell.
Independent and remote-first, working with businesses across the UK.
